I am pleased to introduce my Transition Co-Chairs:

Jackie Gregory, Dan Schneckenburger, and Dave Warnick.

Jackie Gregory is a 24 year resident of Cecil County, and a mom of three teens, two sons and a daughter. She was just re-elected to her second term of the Cecil County Council, where she serves as Vice-President. Jackie serves on several committees, including serving as the council representative to the Maryland Association of Counties, an organization that advocates for counties’ interests in the Maryland legislature. Jackie became active in local politics in 2009 when she founded a local conservative civic group, and she has worked on several political campaigns since then, including serving as the Upper Shore organizer for the Hogan re-election campaign. Jackie has a Master’s Degree in education and has been a teacher for over 20 years, teaching for 6 years in Harford County Public Schools, and for 17 years as an online instructor to teens who are too ill to attend school in person.

Dan Schneckenburger has been a community leader for many years in Cecil County. Dan served on County Council from 2014-2018, and was Vice President of Council the last two years of his term. He was previously vice chair of the Cecil County Charter Committee in 2010, a member of the first Cecil County Strategic Planning Committee in 2012, and on the board of directors of the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce (past president), Fair Hill Nature Center (past president), and the Susquehanna Workforce Network. Dan has extensive experience in business leadership and management roles in chemical, manufacturing, construction, economic development, and workforce development in this region. He has also maintained positive and effective relationships with current elected officials in the state, county and municipalities, county government, Cecil County Public Schools, and Union Hospital/Christiana Care. Dan has a B.S. degree from the University of Delaware, and is married with one daughter.

Dave Warnick is the owner of a local IT servicing company and a former Vice President at Bank of America with various leadership roles. He and his wife of 20 years have two daughters attending Cecil County Public Schools. Dave has served in various public service roles over the past 20 years including most recently the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation for the Town of Rising Sun, the District Vice President representing Cecil and Harford County Municipalities on the Board of Directors of Maryland Municipal League, and the Chairman of the Cecil County Broadband Task Force.

I am excited to have these three wonderful people as part of my Transition Team. They each bring their own experience, knowledge, insight and integrity to the table. Stay tuned. More announcements to come!
