Danielle Hornberger is in her first term as County Executive of Cecil County. She is a first-time officeholder who brought a wealth of experience and understanding of community needs from her service as Community Liaison for the Office of Congressman Andy Harris.
Danielle holds the prestigious position of Treasurer of the Maryland Association of County Officials. She also is a member of the Wilmington Area Planning Council, Bainbridge Development Corporation Board of Directors, Port of Deposit State Historical Park Stakeholder Advisory Committee, and Upper Shore Regional Council.
Danielle formerly worked at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a liaison to the National Corn Growers Association, served as a Field Supervisor for the United States Census Bureau as a Field Supervisor, and taught in the Cecil County Public School (CCPS) system. Additionally, she has volunteered with Boy Scouts and the DelMarVa Council, and is a former board member of the nonprofit organization, Standing to Educate and Promote Sobriety (STEPS) Recovery Resources.
